LG Showcases World’s First 88-Inch 8K OLED Display

The term 4K has become common. So, folks at LG Display has pushed out its OLED technology to bring out 8K OLED Display. The South-Korean manufacturer has brought in its new 88-inch OLED Display, the largest and the highest resolution OLED panel to date.

World’s First 88-Inch 8K OLED Display

The largest OLED screen size was 77-inches and it came with a 4K display. But the arrival of the newest 8K OLED display kills it and takes the top spot. The main rival Samsung Display has also shifted its focus from OLED TVs to QLED (Quantum-Dot LED) TVs.

LG has invested a lot to increase the production capacity as well as to get into mobile OLED panels, a part of this includes the construction of a new OLED plant in China’s Guangzhou City and is approved by the South Korean government.

Well, we all will get to see how well LG has invested to make world’s biggest, brightest and crispest the display is, in the CES next week.
