Sharp announced a smaller model in its Aquos R range; Sharp Aquos R Compact. Unlike any other models in the series, the Aquos R Compact has a different design with an edge-to-edge display.

Sharp Aquos R Compact
The Aquos R Compact comes with a 4.9-inch (1920 x 1080p) IGZO LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz (being the main highlight), powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC, coupled with 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, runs on Android Oreo and is backed by a 2500mAh.
Going to the design, the smartphone has curved corners and notch in the center for the front camera. And speaking of camera, the Aquos R Compact sports a 16.4-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie camera.

The Sharp Aquos R Compact comes in Gold, Silver, Black and White colors and will be available starting this December, exclusively to Softback Japan. The company hasn’t disclosed the price yet.
