WhatsApp Adds Live Location Sharing For Android And iOS

WhatsApp adds live location sharing in their latest update, both on Android and iOS. You can choose to share your real-time location for 15 minutes, 1 hour or 8 hours with people in chat message (single person or a group).

WhatsApp Adds Live Location

Thanks to this feature, you no more need to give directions to people over the phone. This update makes location sharing seamless. This feature will be rolling out in the coming weeks to the users on Android or iOS.

For those who are conscious about sharing your location, the company claims the data will be encrypted from end to end. WhatsApp competitor has had this feature for quite some time and looks like WhatsApp is picking up features from Telegram.
