Samsung Launches New Gear VR For Galaxy Note 8 For $130

Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note 8 and with that company has also unveiled a new Gear VR headset for Galaxy Note 8 that packs a massive 6.3-inch display. The new Gear VR is pretty much same as the older VR in terms of design, weight, and colors.

Samsung’s New Gear VR

THe new Gear VR comes with a controller and much like any other VR, it packs in Accelerometer, Gyro Sensor, and Proximity Sensor. Although the new VR looks, weighs and has similar colors to that of an older version, but, it has got a bigger slot to fit in the Note8.

The new Gear VR is backward compatible i.e it is compatible with previous flagships such as Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 series. There are many other features included with the new VR.

Notably, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ were compatible with Google Daydream, the Note8 may also come with same support. The Gear VR headset is priced at $129.99 and is already available on the US online store.
