HP Omen X Laptop Launched With 4K Display, Nvidia GTX 1080 Inside

HP has launched; HP Omen X laptop in Gamescom 2017, a high-end gaming laptop for the gamers who don’t want to compromise power when choosing a portable device. Well, HP has finally returned to the gaming world with the launch of new gaming PCs, peripherals, a GPU accelerator, and a VR backpack.

Laptop Specifications

The highlight of the laptop is its overclocking and upgradable abilities. Coming to the specifications, HP Omen X has a 17-inch 4K display (for the top model) or a 1080p display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Well, both the versions are Nvidia G-Sync enabled.

The HP Omen X is using Intel’s 7th generation Core i7 processor inside. The base model of the Omen X is powered by GTX 1070 Graphic, 16GB RAM, and a 256 GB SSD / 1TB HDD. While the top model (also) includes an overclockable Core i7-7820HK processor (instead of 7700HQ on the base model) with GTX 1080 and 32GB RAM.

HP is using mechanical switches for the keyboard with a key travel of 2.5mm and without a mention it also has a customizable RGB LED programmable lighting (obviously). The Omen X support overclocking of both GPU and RAM.

HP Omen X LaptopConnectivity includes three regular USB ports, two USB-C Thunderbolt ports, an HDMI port with HDR support, mini DisplayPort, Ethernet, and a card reader slot. And Thanks to the HP’s single panel access to HDDs, SSDs and RAM, making it easy to upgrade all three just with a screwdriver.

The Omen X laptop will be available in November with the base model laptop being priced at $1,999 (which is roughly Rs 1,28,190 or EUR 1698), the top end model is priced at $3,699 (approx Rs 2,37,207 or EUR 3143) and there’s a middle model that’s priced at $2,349 (which is 1,50,635 or EUR 1995).
