HTC has launched its flagship smartphone today in India. The main highlight smartphone is the Edge Sense technology, which allows one to open a specific app by applying pressure on the bezels.

The HTC U11 features a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, while the Samsung Galaxy has a bigger 5.8-inch edge-to-edge Quad HD AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:5:9.
In addition to that S8′ display also support 4K HDR10 and comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The LG G6 features a 5.7-inch Quad HD FullVision display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, Always-on display and 564ppi. Even the LG 6 comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Processor, RAM, And Storage
The HTC U11 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 835 processor. Although the Galaxy S8’s US variant ships with Snapdragon 835 SoC but, in India, the smartphone comes with Exynos 8895 SoC.
The LG G6 sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. Well, in terms of RAM and storage, the HTC U11 packs a bigger 6GB RAM plus 128GB storage as compared to the Galaxy S8 and LG G6 which comes with 4GB RAM 64GB expandable storage.

The HTC U11 sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with UltraPixel technology, 5-axis OIS, EIS, f/1.7 aperture and 4K video recording support with 360-degree sound recording, while the in front a 16-megapixel camera with 150-degree wide-angle lens.
The LG G6 is the only smartphone with a dual camera setup, featuring 13-megapixel rear cameras where one is a wide angle lens with a field of view of 125-degrees, the other is the standard lens with a field of view of 71-degrees and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Galaxy S8’s optic specifications include a 12-megapixel rear camera with OIS, EIS, PDAF and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

All the three smartphones come with 4G VoLTE support and USB-C port. The HTC U11 and LG G6 have Bluetooth 4.2 support, while the Galaxy S8 feature the latest Bluetooth 5.0. Coming to software front, the HTC U11 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with HTC Sense UI, the Galaxy S8 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with TouchWiz UI and the LG G6 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with UX 6.0.
Battery & Pricing
The HTC U11 and Galaxy S8 both are backed by a 3000mAh battery, while the LG G6 is slightly on a higher side with a 3,230mAh battery. The HTC U11 and the LG G6 are the least priced here at Rs 51,990. While the Samsung Galaxy S8 is priced slightly on the higher side at Rs 57,900.
