We have been hearing rumors and claims that companies like Samsung, Apple will come out with devices sporting an on-screen fingerprint scanner i.e a fingerprint scanner embedded in the display, later this year. When it didn’t happen with the latest flagships, the speculation switched the upcoming ones.

Vivo To Bring On-Screen Fingerprint Scanner
If a report from China is legit then, Vivo is all set to break the hype. The company has already started working on a smartphone (prototype) with an on-screen fingerprint scanner. The video leaked today on Weibo (watch it here)
A Chinese analyst said, Vivo will launch a new phone on June 28, which might the first smartphone employing this advanced unlocking feature. We still have hopes from Samsung’s Note 8 and Apple iPhone 8 or iPhone X.
