Honor 9 With Kirin 960, 6GB RAM, Dual Rear Camera Announced

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor announced Honor 9, it’s latest flagship smartphone at an event in China. It is pretty much the same to what Huawei has released this year; Huawei P10, with Honor branding and without Leica branded lenses.

Honor 9; The Next Flagship

It has a 5.15-inch display with curved glass display, is powered by an Octa-core Huawei Kirin 960, paired with 6GB RAM, runs on Android Nougat with EMUI 5.1, a 20-megapixel rear camera, and 12-megapixel camera for 2X hybrid zoom and laser autofocus for quick focus.

The Honor 9 has a 3D metal and glass body, has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button, AKM Hi-Fi audio chip for enhanced audio and all this is backed by a 3200mAh battery with fast charging support.

The Honor 9 comes in Blue, Amber Gold, Gray and Black colors and is priced at 2299 Yuan (Rs 21,806 / US$338 approx) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 2699 Yuan (Rs 25,600 / US$397 approx.) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and the top-end 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at 2999 Yuan (roughly Rs 28,445 / US$441). It will be available for the pre-order starting today and goes on sale on June 16th.
