Moto Z2 Play With Snapdragon 626, New Moto Mods Announced

After a lot of leaks and rumors, Motorola has finally announced the Moto Z2 Play, company’s latest mid-range smartphone featuring a 5.99mm ultra-slim aluminum unibody design with a water-repellent coating and fabric body.

The smartphone has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, powered by a Snapdragon 626 processor. It sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with Dual autofocus pixel, laser autofocus, which promises good low-light shots.

Coming to the front profile, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie camera, both rear and front cameras have dual-tone LED, packs a 3000mAh battery with turbocharging support.

It has a support for Moto Mod connectors. Moto has introduced a new JBL SoundBoost 2 mod with 10 hours of playtime. there is a new TurboPower mod, which has 15W fast charging built into it and it can charge your phone up 50% in just 20 minutes.

In addition to that, For hardcore gamers, the Moto Gamepad Mod is here. It was introduced at the MWC, which adds physical gaming controls to the phone for hardcore mobile gamers.

The Moto Z2 Play comes in Lunar Gray, Nimbus Blue, and Fine Gold colors and starts at $499 (roughly equals Rs. 32130 approx.). It will be available in Brazil from today for R$ 1,999 (US$ 616 / Rs. 39725 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with the 64GB version.

Moto TurboPower Pack Mod is priced at US$79.99 (roughly Rs. 5150 approx.), while, Moto Style Shell with Wireless Charging costs US$39.99 (Rs. 2575 approx.), whereas, the JBL SoundBoost 2 and the Moto GamePad is priced at US$79.99 (Rs. 5150 approx.) and US$79.99 (Rs. 5150 approx.) respectively. The new Mods will be available globally this summer.
