Andy Rubin’s Essential Phone Goes Live With Bezel-less Display; Specs!

Finally, the Essential Phone has broken the cover. It is the first phone from the company Essential headed by Andy Rubin, the person who created Android showcasing the idea what future phones can hold. The smartphone is launching first in the United States.

Andy Rubin’s Essential Phone Goes Official

The Essential smartphone is a true bezel-less phone with a full-screen display that apparently takes even more of the front from that of Galaxy S8. The device is made of titanium and ceramic, which the company claims will beat most aluminum phones in the durability. It’s a sleek look complimented by a complete lack of logos.
The inside of the smartphone is the usual flagship Android components. The phone features the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, which is paired with 4GB RAM, a whopping 128GB onboard storage, and a 3040mAh battery.

More Into Essential Phone

The phone has two holes on the back, which can be used to attach Essential-made accessories. The company has brought Essential-made accessories and the most exciting accessory is a tiny 360-degree camera, which snaps magnetically to the phone – shaped like a Google DayDream VR controller.

The tiny camera comes with 12-megapixel fisheye lenses capable of shooting a spherical UHD (3840×1920) image at 30 frames per second. In addition to that, the phone has dual-camera capable of shooting 4K with a sensor dedicated to monochrome imaging. The phone has a magnetic connector and support for wireless data transfer.
