Samsung has launched a new app called SoundAssistant, which will help Galaxy owners to customize the audio settings on their devices. Apparently, the app offers “150 steps” of volume adjustments, floating EQ, mono, and stereo balancing as well as to individually set volumes for different apps.

Going ahead, SoundAssistant can alter hardware volume keys so that they default the media volume control rather than call volume. The keys will automatically switch control whatever sound is playing at the time, but the downside is that it doesn’t always adjust to the desired settings.
If you own a Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus, SoundAssistant can even allow you to set different outputs for different apps, which is amazing. Like you can setup Bluetooth speakers for Spotify and phone’s speaker for Clash of Clans and so on.
