The app was launched by Culture Minister Dr. Mahesh Sharma at the National Museum. This app will let visitors report garbage on the monument premises. All you need is to enable the Bluetooth of your mobile device. 30 galleries have already been equipped with a device that uses the intranet to connect to the app.

So, when you are in the monument or Museum the device will deliver you the message about Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and ask to report the garbage around you. Even if you don’t have the app installed the message will be delivered by Google about the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and will also send you the link to install the app.

Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Culture Minister said:

The app can be downloaded on an ordinary phone and as you enter the premises and switch on the Bluetooth, it will continuously relay Swachh Bharat-related information to you and also ask you to report any garbage around you. Every such device has a range of about 30 metres. This has been done to ensure that the person uploading and sending photos is inside the premises of the museum or the monuments.
