UberEATS Launched In India
The service is available through its own app, which is available on iOS and Android. The App works pretty much same as any other food delivery app; as in it helps you quickly order food from various restaurant partners and have you delivered. The service is launched in Mumbai initially and will eventually expand to other cities in India.
The service has a distinct advantage over existing players such as Zomato or Swiggy. It brings together three sides of the process i.e. involving restaurants, delivery partners, and customers in the process of food delivery. The only charge involved apart from the listed cost (or your food cost involving taxes) is just Rs 15 as delivery charge and there is no minimum order amount.

Awesomeness Of UberEATS
The best part of this service is that it allows anyone with a two-wheeler to register as a delivery partner, apparently, opening job opportunities i.e all the logistics of payment and delivery is handled by UberEATS, so, the responsibility of restaurants is just to cook the food efficiently.
In addition to that, you can customize your drop-off to anywhere and can even schedule orders and get delivered at your convenient time. Initial restaurant partners in Mumbai include The Bohri Kitchen, Nom Nom, The Bombay Canteen, The Good Wife, Fresh Menu, Le 15, and Krispy Kreme and Chilli’s.
Orders can be placed 24×7, depending on whether the restaurant is operating or not. Uber has also tied up with Paytm for cashless payments. So, users in Mumbai start using the service now by downloading the app or visiting ubereats.com.
