Microsoft is all set to host an event in New York City, where it would likely unveil the future of Windows 10. Even though we cannot expect Surface Book 2 or Surface Pro 5, but what we do expect is that the company will introduce a Surface Laptop running Windows 10 S at the event.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Specs
According to the rumors and the alleged Microsoft Surface Laptop photo leak, the laptop will feature a 13.5-in PixelSense display with 3.4 million pixels and come in 4 different colors i.e. Platinum, Burgundy, Cobalt Blue and Graphite Gold. It will run a skimmed version of Windows 10, which is to be called Windows 10 S.

The keyboard of the Surface Laptop comes in Alcantara-covered and looks similar to that of Surface Book’s keyboard. The left side of the keyboard is a USB-A port, display port, and audio combo jack, whereas on the right side there is only an SD card slot. The laptop is said to weigh 1.25 kgs and will be 14.47mm thin at the back and 9.9mm thin at the front.

Windows 10 S aka Windows 10 Cloud
The Windows 10 S, which is previously rumored to be called Windows 10 Cloud. It is a lighter version of the incumbent Windows 10 and is rumored to run on Universal Windows Platform, apps from Windows Store and will be cheaper than the company’s premium Surface convertibles.
Well, we don’t know the pricing yet, but it would be somewhat similar to Chromebook Pixel. The event starts at 9:30 AM ET / 6:30 AM PT (7:00 PM IST) on May 2nd. Stay tuned for more updates on it.
