HTC U 11 has been in rumors for a while now, but the latest leak might be the closest we have come yet to official specs details. The latest leak appears to a be retail box art, which (in case if legit) provides us with a fine trove of information on the upcoming flagship from HTC.
HTC U 11 Retail Box Leaked Specification
According to the leaked image, the phone will sport a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560) display which will be protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The flagship is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 835 chipset and Adreno 540 GPU, which is paired with 4GB/6GB RAM alongside 64GB/128GB internal storage, which can further be expanded to 2TB via microSD.
Well, the leaked image also shows the camera specs i.e. a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, HTC UltraPixel 3 and UltraSpeed AF and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0. All these is powered by a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

The HTC U 11 will support HTC Boomsound, 3D audio recording, Hi-Res audio and HTC USonic Active Noise Cancellation. Addition to that it has an IP57 rating (according to rumors) for dust and water resistance, supports dual nano SIM cards, NFC and Edge Sense. HTC U 11 is expected to be unveiled on May 16th.
