Lately, Indian Government has been working hard on Android/iOS app development, sooner or later they came to know that India is digitizing, especially with the Digital India initiative.
Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Minister of Railways, while launching the app said:
Indian Railways E-ticketing System caters over 10 lakhs passengers daily (comprising 58% of total reserved passengers).
Nostalgic IRCTC App
Going back, previously IRCTC app doesn’t allow booking between 8AM-12PM, Ticket booking views were not synchronized with website bookings, there were a lot of features missing such as current booking and boarding point change and so on. This app has also got the slow response time and most importantly, low security (Then, why it was running?).
IRCTC Rail Connect App: Power Of New
As it sounds, the new app comes with a whole new level of a makeover. The new app will go easy on user bookings, as this app is developed to bring the power of next generation e-ticketing system with, of course, enhanced security.
Addition to that, the app will be connected with IRCTC AIR, Food on Track mobile apps to improve the level of air (tickets) bookings.
