Hike Messenger rolls out video calling feature. Yesterday, WhatsApp rolled out its video calling feature to the beta testers (which became officially available later). Now, India’s native Hike Messenger has also rolled out the video calling feature today.

Hike Messenger rolled out video calling feature to their beta tester in the early september, will now begin to roll out the feature to the entire user base, starting from Android users this week.

Kavin Bharti Mittal, Founder and CEO, Hike Messenger said;

We see India as primarily a sight and sound market and we believe video calling will have a large impact on how people communicate inside of hike

Hike has also used “Knock Knock” feature of Google’s latest video calling App “Google Duo” i.e you can see the live video preview of the caller before answering the call. WhatsApp’s video call quality in their first release wasn’t satisfying enough, Hope it will get better in the later releases.
