Instagram started testing live video streaming service.
Instagram is very popular among people for sharing their photos, Irrespective if you are a professional or just a beginner, Instagram always welcomes you. After acquired by Facebook, Instagram has grown and reached out to lot of people, but in the meanwhile it has also ripped off Snapchat’s “Stories” feature.
Live stream option is a part of Instagram Stories (as of now) for those of you who had enabled this feature through beta testing. Live streaming can be launched by tapping a big red button labelled “Go Insta!”.
Instagram’s Live Stream, Trial and Error??
There is no official word from Instagram yet, it’s really hard to say whether this feature will go public or not? But with the pace of Instagram, it seems like they will rollout this feature for sure. If this feature comes live, then probably it’s time to say Good Bye Periscope. Periscope’s parent company is Twitter, which is been in news for its loss in growth, will get an add-on loss. But if the early testers are not happy then it is possible that Instagram might ditch the idea to go forward with this feature.
The need of something new from developers is killing creative and innovative ideas of startup. In the end of the day, it seems that every social app will have every feature inside it and there won’t be any difference between Snapchat, Instagram, WhatsApp and so on.
